As If It Matters

I know Silbatron wants me to finish my post in response to Jerry, but I’m in a deep dark place right now. Specifically heavily medicated on my sofa catching up with my tivoed Law & Orders. This afternoon I had emergency dental work – a tooth pulled in the midst of a serious infection/abscess that had even dissolved bone. Despite local anesthetic and laughing gas, it was the single most painful 30 minutes of my life. A deep, dark, aching pain that reached deep into some primordial place and it really, really hurt. I have discovered something new.
